When Louis Vuitton Meets Automotive Art

Louis Vuitton has officially entered a new luxury territory: automotive design. The Parisian maison has teamed up with renowned Porsche 911 customizer Singer Vehicle Design to create two one-of-a-kind cars that bring LV’s craftsmanship far beyond fashion and accessories.The collaboration began with a surprisingly simple request from Singer: a custom dashboard clock. Designed by Louis Vuitton’s Swiss watchmaking workshop, the project quickly evolved into something much bigger, with LV contributing its expertise in leather, watchmaking and craftsmanship to nearly every detail of the cars

The result is two highly personalized Porsche 911s:

The first, a classic features Louis Vuitton’s signature saffron, cobalt blue and yellow palette, along with a detachable Tambour-inspired dashboard clock, custom gauges, leather interiors and a specially designed roof rack for luggage, surfboards or skis.

The second, a Classic Turbo convertible, takes a more refined approach with a soft Calcaire Lutétien palette, wood detailing and an elegant LV-designed interior.

But the collaboration doesn’t stop at the cars. Each Porsche comes with a custom Louis Vuitton luggage collection and a complete driving wardrobe including leather racing jackets, denim, driving shoes, gloves and helmets. The Turbo version even includes a made-to-measure parachute-silk driving suit.

What makes the project especially remarkable is the craftsmanship behind it. Singer’s Porsche restorations can require nearly a year and around 4,000 hours of work, while Louis Vuitton brought together its own specialists in leather, trunks and watchmaking.The result is more than a luxury car collaboration—it’s a meeting of two worlds built around craftsmanship, customization and timeless design, proving that Louis Vuitton’s iconic aesthetic can extend far beyond the traditional boundaries of fashion
